The Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program (SALC) supports the state’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emission goals by making strategic investments to protect agricultural lands. Agricultural Conservation Acquisitions provide funding to leverage the protection of strategically located, highly productive, and critically threatened agricultural land, via the purchase of permanent agricultural conservation easements and fee title purchases.

Projects selected to receive a BEIF grant are also eligible to receive technical assistance through PDAP to support development activities aimed at facilitating their successful implementation and reinforcing their long-term sustainability and proper operation.
This is an opportunity for technical assistance offered to recipients of the BEIF grant.
Through this program, NADBank offers grants to support the implementation of critical environmental infrastructure projects for economically distressed communities in the U.S.-Mexico border region. CAP grants may be used for:
- Project construction and related costs
- Project management and supervision
- Equipment purchase
- Other project components
- Emergency repairs

This program offers grant financing exclusively for the implementation of high-priority municipal drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects located within 100 kilometers of the U.S.-Mexico border.
The objective of the program is to make water infrastructure projects affordable by combining grant funds with loans and other forms of financing. It is designed to reduce project debt to a manageable level in cases where utility customers would face undue financial hardship and projects could not otherwise be implemented.
BEIF funds may be used to support projects that serve a single community or regional approaches that serve multiple communities and/or outlying areas.

The Water Supply Development Revolving Fund (WSDRF) was created to provide low-cost financing, grants, and technical assistance for water supply development projects outside of Arizona’s major urban centers. This fund is specifically designed to meet the unique water supply needs of small, rural communities.
WIFA can provide up to $2 million in grant funding and up to $3 million in the form of a low-interest loan for a total of $5 million in financial assistance per application.
Interest rate discounts and grant eligibility will be determined based on the criteria listed in ARS § 49-1274(B)(3), including:
Water Demands: existing, near-term and long-term water demands compared to the volume and reliability of existing water supplies
Project Benefits: impact on water supply, benefits to multiple jurisdictions, conservation efforts, BMPs being implemented, and long-term reliability of supply being developed
Project Feasibility: engineering specs, the cost and effectiveness of the proposal, funding sources, and public comment
Financial Need: median household income
The State Lake Improvement Fund (SLIF) provides funds for projects on waterways where gasoline powered boats are permitted. SLIF projects could include development of new boat launches, support facilities on the body of water, marking buoys, watercraft, trailers, radios, lights and first aid.

Recreational Trails Program (RTP) Grants

The Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Fund is generated from Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Decal sales and gas tax revenues. These funds provide opportunities for OHV education, outreach, trail building, trail maintenance, law enforcement, signage, support facility development, as well as emergency repairs and vandalism prevention.

The Land and Water Conservation Fund was established by Congress in 1964 to fulfill a bipartisan commitment to safeguard our natural areas, water resources and cultural heritage, and to provide recreation opportunities to all Americans. Using zero taxpayer dollars, the fund invests earnings from offshore oil and gas leasing to help strengthen communities, preserve our history and protect our national endowment of lands and waters. The LWCF program can be divided into the "State Side" which provides grants to State and local governments, and the "Federal Side" which is used to acquire lands, waters, and interests therein necessary to achieve the natural, cultural, wildlife, and recreation management objectives of federal land management agencies.
Available Funds: Variable (based on project needs and timeline)
Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants include governmental entities (cities, towns, counties, tribal governments, state and federal agencies). Non-profits and clubs are not eligible for the LWCF.
Eligible Projects: Funding can be used for outdoor recreation facilities; ADA/accessibility upgrades; acquisition of park lands; baseball & soccer fields, bike parks, pools, playground equipment.
Unclear if applications are accepted year-round.
